11/8: Screening of Peace, Propaganda, and the Promised Land

Westchester-Loyola Village Library will screen the documentary
Peace, Propaganda, and the Promised Land: U.S. Media & the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Featuring scholars, media critics, peace activists, and religious figures, the film compares U.S. and international media coverage of the crisis in the Middle East.

Scholar and peace activist Yigal Arens will lead a post-screening
question-answer session. For many years, Dr. Arens has worked for
Israeli withdrawal from the occupied territories. He speaks
regularly concerning the Israel/Palestine situation and has appeared
on local radio stations KCRW and KPFK and at numerous colleges and
churches.

The event is free and open to the public and takes place Thursday,
November 8, 6:30 p.m. at the library, 7114 W. Manchester Ave. in
